Is it warmer than usual or is it just me?

I wore ballet flats today, jeans, a regular short sleeve tee and a wool blend jacket. And I walked around with the jacket unzipped. My feet didn't even feel too cold.  Is it me or is it warmer this year in Beijing?? It's was apparently around 8 degrees at warmest today.  Seems like I can wear those open toe shoes again in a few weeks!
